Cake:

6 egg whites
1/2 c. milk
1 c. Fluffo shortening
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Filling:

6 egg yolks
3/4 c. milk
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1 c. coconut
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. raisins

Mix cake ingredients.

Bake in layers at 350°F. Check after 25 minutes.

Combine yolks, milk, butter, sugar and pineapple. Cook over low heat until thick. Add coconut, nuts and raisins. Beat well. Put between layers and on top of cake.
