OLD FASHIONED JAM CAKE 
2 c. plain flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. blackberry jam
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves, ground
1/2 c. buttermilk
4 eggs
1 stick butter, melted
1 c. pecans, chopped

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl except jam and nuts. Fold in jam and mix well. Fold in nuts and mix well. Pour batter into lightly greased and floured (bottom and sides) tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours (or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean).
