OLD FASHIONED HOT BUTTERED RUM 
1 c. sugar
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 c. vanilla ice cream
Rum or rum extract
Boiling water
Nutmeg

In 2 quart saucepan cook sugar, brown sugar, and butter over low heat until butter is melted. In large bowl combine ice cream with cooked mixture. Beat at medium speed until smooth.

For each serving, fill mug with 1/4 cup mixture, 1 ounce rum or 1/4 teaspoon extract and 3/4 cup boiling water, sprinkle with nutmeg.
