APPLE COBBLER 
5 c. sliced, pared apples (5 med.)
1/2 c. raisins
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Dash of salt
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. Bisquick
2 tbsp. sugar
1/3 c. milk

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2. Mix apples and raisins in square pan 9x9x2 inch.

3. Blend 2/3 cup sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and water; pour over apple mixture.

4. Stir Bisquick, 2 tablespoons sugar and the milk to a soft dough. Roll dough into 9 inch square on lightly floured board. Place dough on mixture.

5. Bake for 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown.

Makes 8 servings.
