BOILING WATER PASTRY 
1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour (plain)

Pour boiling water over Crisco and salt. Beat until all water is absorbed. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, beat until a ball is formed. Refrigerate or freeze. Take out desired amount and allow it to reach room temperature. Roll out between two pieces of plastic wrap or wax paper. Fit into pie pan, prick bottom and sides with fork. Bake at 350 degrees until desired brownness.
