OATMEAL CARAMEL BARS 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. whipping cream
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. nuts
2/3 c. whipping cream
1 (16 oz.) pkg. caramels

Cream butter and sugar, add soda, 1/2 cup whipping cream, flour and oatmeal. Press 2/3 mixture in 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Melt caramels and 2/3 cup cream together. Pour over baked mixture. Mix remaining dough with nuts, spread over caramel. Bake 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
