1 c. instant dry laundry starch
1 c. cold water
Newspaper (you can also try tissue paper, facial tissue, string or cotton balls)
Mold (balloon, wire or cardboard)
Acrylic paints

In large bowl, mix laundry starch and water together. (You can mix as much as you like, just use equal parts.) Stir until completely blended. Let stand a few minutes to thicken. Dip newspaper or other materials into the paste. Shape as desired, molding over balloon, wire or cardboard frame. Allow to dry thoroughly on waxed paper, usually 2 to 3 days. Paint.
