OYSTER DRESSING 
1/2 c. butter
2 med. onions, minced
1/2 c. bell pepper, minced
4 tsp. parsley, minced
1/2 c. green onions, minced
3 dozen sm. oysters, chopped (reserve oyster liquid)
Salt
Pepper
Cayenne red pepper
Worcestershire sauce
4 c. French bread, cubed

Melt butte in heavy saucepan. Saute first 5 ingredients with seasonings until onions are transparent, add chopped oyster and simmer approximately 15 minutes. Add bread cubes and mix well. If mixture seems too thick, add some of the oyster liquid you have reserved; adjust seasoning. Transfer mixture to baking dish and bake 45 minute at 350 degrees.
