MOM'S BUTTERMILK BISCUITS 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. buttermilk

Cut out and bake in 425 degree oven until brown. Makes about 1 dozen.
