BROCCOLI AND CHEESE SOUP 
1/2 stick butter
2 tbsp. diced onions
4 diced carrots
4 diced potatoes
2 1/2 c. diced broccoli, fresh or frozen
16 oz. jar Cheez Whiz
1 (49 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
1/2 c. flour
2 c. milk
Salt & pepper to taste

Melt butter in large saucepan. Add onions, carrots, potatoes and broccoli. Saute until tender. Add broth. Gradually add milk to flour then combine with broth and vegetables. Bring to a boil and let thicken 5 to 10 minutes. Add Cheez Whiz, salt and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Makes 8 generous servings.
