FRUIT BETTY 
1 c. unsweetened crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. brown sugar or 1/4 c. brown sugar & brown sugar substitute equal to 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. grated lemon peel
4 tsp. melted butter
Dash salt
2 slices bread, crumbled

Put your drained fruit in the bottom of a teflon baking dish or a dish sprayed with non-stick vegetable spray. Combine the remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well. Pour over the drained fruit. Bake at 400 degrees about 20 minutes or until topping looks brown.
