CRISPY FRUIT WREATH 
1/4 c. butter
4 c. miniature marshmallows
1 tsp. vanilla
5 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. cut pitted dates
1/2 c. cut red candied cherries
1/2 c. cut green candied cherries
1/2 c. broken walnuts

Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and cook, stirring constantly until marshmallows are melted and mixture is very syrupy.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Add Rice Krispies, fruits and nuts; stir until well coated. Place all the cereal mixture on waxed paper.

With buttered fingers, shape into wreath, approximately 8 inches in diameter. Cool. Glaze with icing, decorate with cherries. One 8 inch wreath, cuts into 32 slices.
