HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 unbaked (9 inch) pastry shell
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c. hot mashed potatoes

Combine ground beef and onion until done and then drain. Stir in chili powder and soup. Spoon into pastry shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle with cheese and spoon mashed potatoes around inside edge of crust. Serves 4.
