OLD FASHIONED MACARONI, HAM AND CHEESE | |
2 (12 oz.) pkgs. macaroni 2 pkgs. Ekrich sliced ham 2 (10 oz.) blocks cheese, grated White sauce (recipe below) 2 c. crushed corn flakes Cook macaroni and drain. Chop ham. Add ham and 1/2 of grated cheese to macaroni in a 9x13 glass casserole dish. Pour white sauce over macaroni and top with remaining cheese. Sprinkle with corn flakes. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 6. WHITE SAUCE: Melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Mix 1/4 cup of flour with salt and pepper to taste. Stir into melted butter. Heat until bubbly. Stir in slowly 2 cups of milk and heat until sauce thickens somewhat. |
