FAMOUS CHOCOLATE BARS | |
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix 1 tbsp. water 1/2 c. butter 1 c. chopped nuts 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels (50 or so) 1/3 c. regular or evaporated milk 1 c. chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray. Melt caramels and milk together. In bowl combine cake mix, water, butter and nuts. Press 1/2 of dough in pan and bake for 6 minutes. Top with chocolate chips. Cover with caramel sauce. Top with remaining dough. Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer. Submitted by: Pat Gregg |
