PICKLED COLE SLAW 
1 lg. cabbage, shredded
2 lg. onions, sliced
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt

DRESSING:

1 c. vinegar
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. salad oil
3 tsp. celery seed

Toss cabbage and onions with sugar and salt. Let stand while mixing the dressing. Mix vinegar, prepared mustard, sugar and celery seed together. Bring to a boil and add the salad oil, boil 1 minute then pour over the cabbage and onion mixture. Cover and store in refrigerator, will keep up to 2 weeks.
