PICKLED COLESLAW | |
1 very lg. head of shredded cabbage 2 lg. onions, thinly sliced 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 c. white vinegar 1/4 c. sugar 3/4 c. salad oil 2 tsp. prepared mustard 3 tsp. celery seed Mix first four ingredients together. Bring vinegar, sugar, mustard, and celery seed to boil. Add salad oil and mix with cabbage mixture. Best if chilled overnight. |
