ALPINE CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
4 c. cooked chicken 2 c. sliced celery 2 c. toasted bread crumbs 1 c. salad dressing 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. chopped onion 1 (8 oz.) Swiss cheese, cut in strips 1/4 c. slivered almonds Combine chicken, celery and bread crumbs; set aside. Combine dressing, milk, salt and pepper; fold in onion and cheese. Pour over chicken mixture and toss well. Spoon into buttered 2 quart dish and top with almonds; bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Serves 6. |
