BROCCOLI AND CAULIFLOWER SALAD | |
1 head cauliflower 1 bunch broccoli 1 bunch green onions 1 can water chestnuts, drained DRESSING: 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1/3 c. vinegar 1/4 c. sugar 1/3 c. oil 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. mustard 1 tsp. horseradish Clean vegetables and soak broccoli and cauliflower in salt water 15 minutes; drain. Slice thin the onions and chestnuts. Mix dressing and beat well. Pour over vegetables and mix lightly. Cover tightly and refrigerate 24 hours before serving. Stir occasionally. |
