OLD TIME TEA CAKES 
1 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
4 c. flour

Melt butter in pan. Add sugar. Mix well and add eggs. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to mixture. Chill dough. Roll small amounts of dough (after chilling) and cut in desired shapes and sizes. Bake at 400 degrees until brown around the edges.
