CHICKEN ADOBO FROM PHILIPPINES 
White breast of chicken (several)
1 onion, chopped
1 garlic clove
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 c. water

Bone chicken and cut in slices. Mix sauce and let chicken stand in sauce 1 hour; refrigerate. Put in pan and simmer for 15 minutes covered. Then uncovered until liquid is almost gone. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
