CHOCOLATE DREAM PIE 
1 1/2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers
1/3 c. melted butter

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine wafers, butter and press into bottom of 9 inch pan. Bake 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven. May also use chocolate wafers or graham crust.

FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. water
2 c. whipping cream, divided
1/2 c. sugar
6 oz. milk chocolate pieces, melted
1 env. gelatin

In small bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Beat in melted chocolate, set aside. Pour water into small saucepan and sprinkle gelatin over water. Let stand 1 minute. Cook over low heating, stirring until gelatin is dissolved, about 5 minutes. With mixer running, slowly pour gelatin into chocolate mixture. Fold in 1 cup of the whipped cream. Pour mixture into prepared crust. Chill until firm. When ready to serve, top with remaining whipped cream sweetened to taste. Garnish with fresh sliced strawberries.
