SNICKER CAKE 
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1 (12 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 stick butter
1/2 c. milk
2 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix cake as directed on package. Pour half of batter into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels with butter and milk. Spoon over baked cake. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over caramel mix.

Pour remaining cake batter over cake. Bake 20 minutes at 250 degrees and 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool.
