CAULIFLOWER SOUP 
1 head cauliflower
1 c. chopped green onions
1 1/2 qt. chicken broth
1 tsp. caraway seeds
Seasoned salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. sugar

Place washed cauliflower flowerets into 4-quart saucepan. Add onions, chicken broth, and caraway seeds. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until cauliflower is tender but not mushy.

Mix together flour, seasoned salt, black pepper and sugar until mixed into a paste. This will thicken soup. Pour mixture into saucepan with other ingredients. Simmer about 5 minutes. Serve hot. Hmmmmmmmmm.

You can skip flour, milk and sugar step and use a hand blender to make the cauliflower the thickener. Just sauté the onions in olive oil or butter until soft before adding the cauliflower and chicken broth. It comes out like a silky cream soup with no cream or roux.
