1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon or orange juice
Cherry pie filling

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients except cherry pie filling. Place this mixture in a greased 12x14 inch oblong pan. Place cherry pie filling, by heaping teaspoon (20-24) over the mixture before baking. Bake for 45 minutes. While still warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
