RUGALACH 
DOUGH:

1/ 2 lb. sweet butter
1/2 lb. cream cheese
2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt

FILLING:

1 c. currants
1 c. chopped walnuts
6 tbsp. cinnamon & sugar mixture
1/2 c. melted sweet butter

Mix all dough ingredients well and chill overnight. Divide dough into 4 parts. On floured wax paper roll one piece of dough into a 9" circle. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle dough with approximately 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar mixture, 1/4 cup currants and 1/4 cup walnuts. With pizza cutter, divide circle into 16 wedges. Roll each wedge from outside toward center. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees until golden brown. Repeat above with each piece of dough.
