APPLE DUMPLINGS 
5 apples, peeled, cored and halves
Canned biscuits
2 c. sugar
3 c. water
1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. flour

Mix sugar, water, and butter and cook to a syrup while you roll biscuits flat. Mix rest of ingredients for a spice mixture. Lay 1/2 apple on each flattened biscuit. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon spice mixture and 1 teaspoon butter on apple. Fold biscuit over apple. Secure by pinching together biscuit. Place in baking dish. Pour syrup liquid over all biscuits. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
