LA MARQUISE APRICOT CAKE 
1 (8 inch) iron spider
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 lg. can apricot halves
3 eggs
1 c. sifted flour
Dash of salt
1 tsp. baking powder
5 tbsp. apricot juice

Melt 1/4 pound of butter. Add 1 cup brown sugar. Add 1 large can apricot halves; simmer stage. Beat and pour over apricots 3 eggs, 1 cup sifted flour, dash of salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 5 tablespoons juice. Bake 350 degrees 1/2 hour. Turn on platter. Enjoy.
