LEMON DESSERT SAUCE 
6 eggs, well beaten
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 tbsp. lemon peel, grated

Combine all ingredients. Cook in a double boiler, until thick, stirring constantly. Serve over puddings, cakes, etc. Makes about 1 quart. Keeps well in refrigerator.
