LEMON SAUCE FOR DESSERTS &
CROQUETTES (EA)
 
Juice & rind of 2 lemons
2 c. sugar
2 eggs

Beat all together and just before serving add a pint of boiling water. Set on stove and when at boiling point serve on Rice Croquettes, or desired dessert such as cake. Some people like to add to sauce 1/3 cup butter and 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
