CECE'S BRISKET 
Brisket
Paprika
Salt
Garlic (or garlic salt)
1 onion, sliced
Potatoes, cubed
Bay leaves
Oregano
Basil

Always a family favorite from mom.

1. Rinse meat and pat dry.

2. Brown for 10 minutes in Dutch oven (or large fry pan with lid) and add spices. Then brown other side for ten minutes and add spices again.

3. Add onion. Cover meat with water.

4. Simmer, covered, for 2 hours.

5. Remove meat and slice (before fork sinks into meat).

6. Return meat to pot. Add potatoes and cook 1/2 to 1 hour more.
