CARAMEL SQUARES TEXAS DOUGH BOYS 
1 pkg. caramels (40)
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix (Pillsbury recom.)
1/3 c.. evaporated milk
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips

Melt caramels and 1/3 cup milk over low heat (keep warm until ready for use). Combine cake mix, milk, butter and nuts in large bowl. Mix until just moistened. Spread half of mixture in greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and add chocolate chips. Sprinkle some chips on top. Spread caramel mixture over all. Crumble remaining mixture on top. Return to oven at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
