FRUIT COBBLER 
1 stick butter
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 qt. heated sweetened fruit (peaches, cherries, strawberries, blackberries)

Melt butter in pan and set aside. Mix flour, sugar and milk in bowl. Beat well. Pour over top of melted butter. But do not stir. Pour heated fruit over flour mixture. Bake at 375 degrees until pastry rises to top with browns, about 30 minutes.
