ENGLISH TOFFEE 
1 c. chopped almonds
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
4 (30 cent) chocolate bars

Melt butter in saucepan; add brown sugar and 1/2 cup nuts. Bring to boil and boil for 12 minutes; stir constantly.

Pour hot mixture into buttered pan, mixture should be approximately 1/4 inch thick. Place bars into hot mixture and spread. Add remaining nuts over chocolate.
