3 eggs
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. allspice
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 c. or 1 (28 oz.) jar mince meat
1 c. nutmeats

Cream sugar and shortening and add eggs. Beat well.

Add mince meat and salt.

Sift together flour, allspice, baking powder and soda; add dry mixture.

Mix well. Add vanilla and nutmeats. Drop and bake at 375°F for 12 minutes.
