BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
2 sticks butter
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
4 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
2 c. powdered sugar
3 lg. bananas (sliced long)
1 (No. 2) can pineapple, drained
9 oz. Cool whip
Hershey's syrup
Chopped nuts
Maraschino cherries

Use a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Melt 1 stick butter with cracker crumbs, layer in bottom of pan. Mix 1 stick butter, 1 egg, 4 oz. cream cheese, and 2 cups powdered sugar. Beat until stiff and pour over first layer. Drain pineapple; dip bananas in juice to keep from turning; place over No. 2 mixture and sprinkle pineapple over bananas. Spread Cool Whip and dribble Hershey's syrup. Sprinkle nuts and cherries.
