ITALIAN MEATA LOAFA 
1 lb. Italian sausage
3 lb. ground beef
1 c. oatmeal
2 eggs
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
1 lb. mild cheddar cheese
1 med. size onion
1 lg. bell pepper
1 jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes

Mix sausage and beef, eggs and oatmeal together. Divide into 2 equal parts in a 9x12x24 cake pan. Level out first half of meat mix; slice 1/2 of both cheeses, onion and bell pepper. Spread over first layer of meat mix. Spread thin layer of Ragu sauce. Now cover with second half of meat, sealing all edges so cheese will not run out.

Slice remaining cheese, pepper, onions. Spread evenly over top. Add another layer of Ragu sauce. Slice stewed tomatoes and spread over top. Cover with foil. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 275 degrees or until done. Slice and enjoy this tasty morsel. Garlic salt for more tasty morsel can be sprinkled on each layer.
