PERSIMMON COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in pulp
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. nuts

Sift together flour, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Add raisins and nuts to flour mixture. Cream butter, sugar and egg. Add pulp and soda, then flour mixture until well mixed. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
