RICE AND HAMBURGER MEAL | |
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger meat 1/2 green pepper 1/2 lg. onion 3/4 c. rice, cooked 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. chile pepper Little black pepper Little garlic powder 1 lg. or 2 sm. cans tomato sauce 1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded Cook onion and green pepper in a little oil until wilted. Add meat, salt, pepper, and garlic powder; cook until meat is done. Drain off fat; add chile powder, and cooked rice. Stir well. Cook on low heat until mixture comes to a slow boil. Add shredded cheese and turn off heat. Serves 8 or 10 people. Add salad; makes a good meal. |
