SWEET AND SOUR STEAK 
Round steak (chicken or meatballs may be substituted)
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 can (13 1/2 oz.) pineapple tidbits, drained (reserve syrup)
1/3 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/3 c. chopped green pepper
1/3 c. carrot rings

Brown meat. Mix cornstarch and sugar. Stir in pineapple syrup, vinegar and soy sauce until smooth.

Pour into skillet; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Add pineapple, pepper and carrots. Serve over rice.
