CORN BREAD 
2 c. meal
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. softened butter
1/2 c. sugar
Milk to make dough

Sift together cornmeal, flour and baking powder. Add beaten eggs, butter, sugar and milk to make a soft dough. Place in a pan and bake in hot oven, 425 degrees.
