1 lb. lean hamburger
1 chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
American cheese slices
1 box frozen tater tots

Mix hamburger with onion; spread into bottom of casserole dish. Add soup over meat. Cover soup with slices of cheese; add tater tots and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
