WINNING CHERRY PIE 
2 (1 lb.) cans tart cherries
3 tbsp. tapioca (quick)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. sugar

Drain cherries. Reserve 1/2 cup juice. Soften quick tapioca. Add salt, almond flavoring, salt and lemon juice. Stir in cherries and sugar. Let stand while making crust.

Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. Makes 1 (10") pie.
