MANICOTTI SURPRISE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
Garlic powder
Salt & pepper
1 slice bread, diced
1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar Ragu sauce
1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 lb. (7 or 8 shells) parboiled

Brown meat, garlic, onion together and spoon off excess fat. Stir in seasonings, bread, 1/4 cup Ragu and cheese. Cool slightly. Mix in egg. Fill hot manicotti shells with stuffing. Spread 1 cup Ragu in bottom of 12"x7" dish. Arrange shells. Pour remaining sauce over center 1/3 of shells. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
