VERNA'S PECAN LOGS 
1 box powdered sugar
1 lg. jar marshmallow creme
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. caramel pieces (Kraft recommended)
2 tbsp. butter
Chopped pecans

Mix sugar, marshmallow creme and vanilla together. Shape into logs. Freeze. Melt caramels and butter. Dip logs into caramel, quickly roll into pecans. Wrap in plastic wrap.

Cook's Note: These can be made ahead and frozen. Tie ribbons on some for a wonderful gift.
