SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
3 or 4 cloves garlic, cut up
1 qt. tomatoes
1 (10-12 oz.) can tomato paste
Sweet basil or mint to taste
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Fry garlic in a little cooking oil. Combine garlic with other ingredients and stir well. Put on stove and when sauce starts to cook, turn heat down to low. Let sauce simmer for about 4 hours. Use with Italian meatballs. Add 1 quart of Ragu sauce, if needed!
