CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
6 lg. eggs
3 c. flour
Dash of salt

Combine butter, cream cheese and sugar, beat well. Add salt and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour and mix well. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Place in a cold oven; then set at 275 degrees. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Cool for 5 to 10 minutes, then remove cake from pan.
