CARAMEL - PECAN SAUCE
Fill the outer 1 1/4 cup sections from the Serving Center Set with your choice of ice cream toppings. Choose from sliced bananas, sliced strawberries, sliced nectarines or peaches, toasted coconut, tiny candies and whipped cream. Serve this nutty, butter-rich sauce over scoops of vanilla or coffee ice cream in the cereal bowls.

3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. light cream
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans, almonds, walnuts or cashews

In a heavy saucepan combine sugar, brown sugar, light cream and butter. Cook over medium-high heat until boiling, stirring constantly to dissolve the sugars. Reduce heat. Cook and stir for 5 minutes more or until slightly thickened. Stir in chopped pecans. Let stand 10 minutes.

To serve, pour the caramel-pecan sauce into the removable center bowl from the Serving Center Set. Fill the outer 1 1/4 cup sections with desired ice cream toppings. In cereal bowls place scoops of desired ice cream. Add desired ice cream toppings. Remove center bowl; apply seal and store remaining caramel-pecan sauce in the refrigerator. To reheat, spoon desired amount of sauce into a small saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring constantly. Makes 1 2/3 cups sauce.
