6 tbsp. corn meal
2 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 sm. onion, grated
1 tbsp. catsup
1/4 c. grated cheese

Add enough buttermilk to make soft ball. Mix well. Fry in deep fat.
