FRUIT COBBLER 
1 stick butter
1 c. milk
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
2 c. sliced peaches or cooked apples, blackberries, blueberries & cherries

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. While the oven is heating place the butter in a 9 x 13 inch pan and put in the oven to melt. While butter is melting mix together the flour, milk and sugar in a medium-sized bowl. Remove the pan from the oven and pour mixture over the butter. Distribute the fruit and its juices evenly over the batter. Return pan to oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until brown. Serves 6.
